Jerry Guo

I am a PhD candidate in Organizational Behavior and Theory at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University.

I study organizational learning through two lenses. In one stream of research, I examine how the structure of work influences learning outcomes. In this stream, I study organizational routines and adaptability, transactive memory systems, and small team communication networks. In a second stream of research, I examine how personnel mobility can contribute to knowledge transfer. I work with Dr. Linda Argote and Dr. Oliver Hahl

I use experiments in both the laboratory and in the field. In my research, I have worked with military and healthcare organizations.

Prior to starting my PhD, I worked at the United States Naval Postgraduate School, where I supported research sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
